Frequently Asked Questions

All prices depend on the particular job. For example, some take longer to complete than others, and specific projects may require more insulation. To calculate what you'll pay, one of our trained assessors will scope out the property to see what is needed to complete the job. We do 90% of quotes on the spot, so you'll know what you're paying even before our install team turns up at the door. For your peace of mind, we won't charge anything over the quoted amount, regardless of how long the installation takes.
Our products include Knauf Earthwool ceiling insulation: R3.6 is 175mm thick, and R4.1 is 195mm thick. Each insulation segment is 1160mm long x 430mm wide. Both meet the new regulations standards NZS4246, which is over 170mm. Knauf Earthwool underfloor: R1.5 rated, and 70mm thickness. Each segment of insulation is 2700mm long and 470 mm wide. Insulation is in segments, meeting the NZS4246 code.
